Announcing a new branch of Critical Forum – Cork
Critical Forum Cork is a new initiative in 2019, and are currently seeking members.

Critical Forum Cork is a discussion group for artists, critics and curators who have an investment in the future of the moving image. It is a space for criticality and debate in a mutually supportive environment and in dialogue Critical Forum groups in Dublin and across the UK.
The forum will take place once every two months at the Glucksman Gallery in Cork from Spring 2019 and is supported by LUX and aemi, a platform that supports & exhibits artist and experimental moving image in Ireland.
Each meeting will consist of two separate presentations by two members of the group and/or invited artists and will involve discussion of films and moving image work by other artists with reference to texts where relevant. The focus of these sessions will always be on group discussion.
Critical Forum members must be willing to commit to the group for a period of one year.
