Sibyl Montague currently based in Dublin, completed a MFA from Chelsea College of Art, London in 2012. Montague is the recipient of several awards including Cité Internationale Des Arts Residency, Paris (2017); Temple Bar Gallery + Studio Project Award, Dublin (2015-16); Emerging Visual Artist Award, WAC, Wexford (2012); Oriel Davies Open,UK (2011) and Red Mansion Award Shortlist, UK (2012) Her moving image work was commissioned for the collection of the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania. Montague is co-founder and curator of PLASTIK, a biennial of Artists’ Moving Image in Ireland in partnership with LUX (London), the Irish Film Institute and Temple Bar Gallery + Studios. (2015, 2017)
