Synopsis
‘Maritime records the transmission of the message (“what hath God wrought”) based on the the first long distance telegraph transmission by Edison. For this piece the back cover of the optical signaling Aldis lamp was removed. It was shot at Haulbowline Naval base whilst on residency at Sirius Arts Centre. Work was shown as part of Block and Receive at Butler Gallery. Camera work was by Aidan Maguire.'
