Interview with Jesse Jones 2016

Invited by MEx 2016 curator in residence Alice Butler, Vaari Claffey visits Jesse Jones in her studio at IMMA to discuss Jesse’s practice in a conversation which is loosely woven around a number of objects found on the shelves and walls of the workspace.

Vaari Claffey is a curator and writer based in Dublin.  She is Director of Gracelands and Hazelwood Visual Arts, Sligo. She occasionally works in film and performance in collaboration with artists and others. Vaari teaches part time at IADT and MA Art in the Contemporary World, NCAD, Dublin.
