For any one making moving image works, or who uses ‘found’ footage, this talk will be very useful to your practice.

Creative Europe Desk Ireland invites visual artists, authors, screenwriters, composers, and performers.

A free Breakfast Event at:
DRURY BUILDINGS, 55 Drury Street, D2 (Off Exchequer Street)
Thursday 12th December
9.00am – 10.30am

Breakfast, followed by a short talk from David Kavanagh from FSE (Federation of Screenwriters in Europe).

The EU copyright legislation is a set of ten directives, which harmonise essential rights of authors and of performers, producers and broadcasters. Each Member State, including Ireland, will adapt their current copyright laws to reflect the new European legislation.

David Kavanagh from FSE (Federation of Screenwriters in Europe) will give an overview and update on the EU Copyright directive and what it means in practical terms for content creators working in Ireland.
