Instances

Anne Tallentire

Synopsis

'Instances is a three part work that consists of a video projection of the dawn rising over the edge of the city, a video/performance cycle shot with a hand held camera of actions taking place in the studio filmed in natural light towards the end of the day and a video loop of a single image of an ear pressed against a wall. The work was first exhibited when Tallentire was sole representative of Ireland at Venice Biennale and as a solo show at Lux Gallery London curated by Gregor Muir.'
