Synopsis
Zikaruisto is a moving image/dance project by Landing Collective, a visual art and performance collaboration. The protagonist, an immigrant, evokes a memory of her mother's movements when tatting lace, fixing clothes, folding, knitting, and minding the home. The textiles' complexity and intricacy come to mind one day on the streets of Dublin where she now lives, and she takes a moment to remember the tradition, feeling it like rays of sun in the rainy Irish day.
Zikaruisto includes original music by Brian Murphy.
